Mammoth additions have increased the capacity of Dubai World Trade centre
More space and more facilities is the mantra driving Dubai. The most recent mammoth additions have increased the capacity of Dubai World Trade centre to accommodate more than 2,700 delegates, in the expansion of 3,500-square-metre. The total number of rooms for meetings has been doubled from19 to 37.
The addition features VIP and buyer lounges situated on Concourse 1 that’s above Halls 1 to 4.It also includes open spaces and break-out areas for off-site meetings, training and mock sessions for corporates. This is just a beginning to the preparations for Expo 2020. And in near future 2014 event calendar is packed with events. It is a one of the busiest year for DWTC.

The ‘Economic Impact Assessment’ Oxford Economics report prepared finds that 20% of tourism spend in 2011 was initiated by events at Dubai World Trade Centre . Other similar studies also show that DWTC is one of the major reasons for Dubai’s business travelers and associated tourism. And projections show this trend to be increasing by the day.
The month ahead is pretty busy at DWTC. A host of events related to education, healthcare, leisure, pharmaceuticals, technology and design are planned. The year has Intersec, Arab health, Sign and Graphics, Aviation week, Gulf food, UAE Dental conference etc line up. More number of meeting rooms will facilitate more comfortable business zones which initiate new partnerships and deals a help strengthen the existing ones.
