Official executive of Media Cluster Dubai said, in case of successful bid for Emirates Expo 2020, they are going to set up Dubai media free zone to manage high demand of operating services and licenses.
The host country of Expo 2020 will be announced in this month and 4 cities are competing for this including Dubai and the states of emirates is preparing itself for this bigger event.
In last couple of weeks, many business tycoons from all over the UAE have expressed that they are highly interested in hosting this international event and they have debated, how it will help to grow the economy in the lead up to Expo 2020.
Managing Director Mohammad Abdullah of Media Cluster Dubai said that media zone of Dubai is able to entertain diverse segments and companies.
Media Cluster of Dubai is liable for Studio City Dubai, Dubai International Media Production Zone and Media City Dubai.
Dubai Media Cluster, commonly known as Media City Dubai, is a home of some largest media production companies and global news agencies. But in case of successful Expo 2020 bid, the demand of companies to be in Dubai will be very high.
Managing Director Mohammad Abdullah while talking about Media Clusters Dubai, “Expo 2020 is no doubt an opportunity for all of us to entertain the new comers from all over the world as they will obviously need products and services and it will directly beneficial in shape of business opportunities ”.
Generally, Dubai is an easy and ideal location to setup regional offices for many companies especially for media groups. It’s an easier to target Europe and Asia from Dubai as compare to other locations.
Managing Director Mohammad Abdullah said, World Expo 2020 will work as an “invitation” and “opportunity” for international media groups who were planning to start their operations in UAE especially in Dubai. He has also mentioned, there will be enough opportunities for the already existing companies which are operational in Dubai Media Zones.
He also said, it’s a mutual benefit for the Dubai City and for the whole Media Cluster Dubai.
